The Girton Racing Team Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) had its 5ٳconsecutive win at Maryborough on the weekend.
The winning vehicle, named ‘X-Ception’ competed in the EEV Hybrid 2 Category and as well as winning on the track, also won the Design and Construction Award.
The team completed 994km in 24 hours, winning convincingly over the the nearest competitor which was 349km behind at the end of the 24 hours.
The new all-girl team in their “rolling watermelon” came third in their category with 390 laps of the 1.84km track.
