Before beginning his training in the Li family system Dave trained in Aikido for a year. He currently teaches a T’ai Chi class in Swansea, “with a little bit of Feng Shou thrown in”.

Jane currently teaches a children’s Feng Shou class, an adults T’ai Chi class and ladies only Feng Shou and Qingda classes in East London. She is a qualified Teacher for Deaf Children together with being a BCCMA (governing body) National Champion, qualified Judge and Referee. Jane competed for England in a BCCMA International Challenge Match against Germany and was the 2004 BCCMA National Champion in semi-contact sparring.

Sue has extensive training experience in the Li family system having trained both with Prof. Chee Soo and Master Tony Swanson. She currently teaches in Reading on a school term basis (please ring Sue for details). The class is a mixture of T’ai Chi and Feng Shou but with a bias towards T’ai Chi. Sally began her martial arts training in Shotokan Karate gaining her 3rd Dan shortly before beginning her training in the Li family system with Master Tony Swanson. She has extensive competition experience at National level in Push Hands, Qingda (semi-contact sparring) and Sanshou (full contact sparring). In 2003 Sally was voted Combat ‘Hall of Fame’ Woman of the Year.

PAUL KENNY

Paul is currently teaching T'ai Chi and Feng Shou in North Yorkshire.  He started his martial arts training in Judo at age 11, and later in Feng Shou at the age of 14 in 1981; and has maintained his practice of the Li style through to the present day.  In 2004 Paul competed successfully in the BCCMA National Championships in Sanshou.  Through his work as a PE Teacher Paul has acquired many coaching qualifications in traditional sports and has worked with many top national and international coaches.

Renown for being the “memory man” of Li style forms Nik runs very popular T’ai Chi and Feng Shou classes in Abbey Wood. Gaining Gold, Silver or Bronze in every National competition he has entered, Nik’s competition experience spans three separate disciplines (push hands, Chinese wrestling & semi-contact sparring). Nik has also represented England in an International match against Germany.
