These forms of exercise are suitable for ALL age groups as they can be adjusted to suit the capabilities of the practitioner

K'ai Men
Sometimes called Taoist Yoga - K'ai Men is generally translated as "Open Door". In this form of exercise all of the main joints of the body are worked to their full potential to maximise the flexibility, balance and control of the participant.

Working on the structure as well as internal organs of the body K'ai Men exercises work to maximise good health, wellbeing and clear movement of chi (internal energy).

A form of Chi Gong, each exercise has a basic 'Sequence' which is performed to a set breathing pattern, and an 'Extension' to natural breathing.  Each Extension has five variables which can be adjusted to suit the capability of the practitioner.

There are in excess of 400 different exercises - each having the five variables!

Similar to K'ai Men, Tao Yin exercises are also a form of Chi Gong.  There are 200 different Tao Yin exercises each with its own unique name such as 'Single Iron Arm' or 'Beware the Bear'.  Tao Yin exercises work on specific areas of the body including organs and meridians and work to enhance the general wellbeing of the practitioner.
