DOUBLE WHAMMY !
Saturday 14 October saw the birth of a new TAO Junior competition.
Our new Inter-Club competition was devised so that the
children could learn how to work in and as part of a team.
Teams were made up of 4 children from the same club (wherever
possible) with the addition of 1 teenage member from another club.
The Inter-Club competition saw our usual 3 Star Principle event
replaced with a new event - Push Hands, which is to be introduced
as a totally new event for children in the BCCMA National Junior
Championships in May 2007. Split into two halves, Fixed Step and
Moving Step, Push Hands involves the use of techniques taught in Feng
Shou and T'ai Chi to unbalance or move your opponent without the use of
punches, kicks or locks.

this competition bigger and better than last year's
