The Girton Grammar Junior School will put on a special matinee performance of the timeless classic “Aladdin Jr” for local preschooler’s, as a fundraiser for the Children’s Ward at Bendigo Health.
The Capital Theatre will come to life as students from year’s 2, 4 and 6 perform this wildly colourful musical filled with genies, sultans, misfits and flying carpets.
The students have been rehearsing this spectacular production for weeks and are thrilled to be performing for a good cause.
The story of Aladdin is filled with beauty, magic and comedy and has wide appeal for both the very young and the young at heart.
Entry to Thursday’s show, especially aimed at kindergartens, childcare centres and Early Learning Centres in Bendigo, is by gold coin donation which will be given to the Children’s Ward at Bendigo Health.
