Year 12 黑料网 student, Jarrod Tyndall, said that Year 12 was a long year and that he got through by pacing himself.
鈥淢y goal was to steadily improve my SAC marks as the year progressed so that I was at my peak for the end of year exams.
鈥淚 tried hard to put things in perspective too, and to remember that one bad SAC mark is not the end of the world,鈥 he said.
Jarrod studied Business Management, Physical Education, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Japanese and English Language for VCE. He has not yet decided whether to pursue a career in Business or in the sports industry, but either way, plans on going to University next year. Jarrod said that all of his teachers were incredibly helpful and he even remembers the support and care that he received from the early Junior School years.
鈥淚 actually think my Prep and Year 2 teacher at Girton Grammar, Mrs Campbell, and my Year 4 teacher, Mr Di Fede, made the biggest impact on my development as a person.
鈥淚n year 12, Mrs Rankin was very dedicated to聽English聽and that really rubbed off on our class.
鈥淢r Evans was just so聽knowledgeable聽about maths and such a fun teacher to be around that it made me want to go to every math鈥檚 class.
鈥淢s Watanabe was just the most helpful teacher and person I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around, she would do anything for you, school related or not.
鈥淎nd Mr聽McCarthy聽made himself聽available聽at any time for聽questions, which he聽probably聽got sick of me abusing by the end of the year. He is a really down to earth person as well.
鈥淚 feel as though every unit 3/4 teacher really wanted to get the best results for every student and they put in countless聽hours聽to聽assist聽every student in getting their desired result,鈥 Jarrod said.
